Practice the movement for 15 min:
Lizard Crawl ↗The main goal for today’s workout is to play. Try, try and try again. Just keep moving! Challenge yourself to complete all three progression levels and see how far you can go. Do a few attempts to failure and discover what you’re capable of!
Post your maximum step count you can crawl, before failure & progression level in the comments.
The Lizard Crawl as a complex movement, trains almost everything. In this contralateral movement you have to be strong, be stable but also stay loose to move the next limb forward. Involved bodyparts: chest, core, shoulders, triceps and legs.
Try to play through all three options. Stick with the one that is possible but still challenging. To make the Lizard Crawl a little easier, you can hold your hands closer to your body instead of extending your arms out and forward.
